DIY QUARTZ JELLY ACAI BOWL RECIPE

I was inspired to do this quartz jelly after visiting the Jewel Cave in Australia! It not only looks cute, but very tasty as well. This technique of make quartz does not restrain to jelly only. You can make mini quartz soap bars or even using clay for a cute paperweight.

As mentioned in the video, this is the recipe if you want to use gelatin.

  • 1 3/4 cups/440g of water or milk of choice. You can use coconut/almond/fresh milk.

  • 1 tbsp/15g of gelatin OR 3 gelatin sheet

  • 1/4 cup/60g of cold water

*if using fruit puree as colouring, replace the exact amount of water with puree. eg, if you used 1/4 cup of puree, then use 1.5cup of water.

  1. Bloom the gelatin powder/sheet in the cold water.

  2. Heat the liquid in a small pot and add in the gelatin. If you’re using gelatin powder, microwave it before adding into the liquid.

  3. Add in colouring/puree.

  4. Bring mixture to a boil.

  5. Continue as video shows.

It’s been a long time since I did a recipe tutorial so I hope you enjoy watching! Feel free to leave comments if you have any questions or video request.

Thank you for watching!

Love,

Angelyn
