5 Things To Do At A Yacht Party
Indulging in a glass of wine on a yacht in the deep blue sea is to die for. This experience is something that I will only fantasize about. However, I was given the opportunity to experience it. Everyone was busy trying to maximize their time there. Therefore, I've decided to write this post to share with you guys 5 must-dos at a yacht party!
1. Dress to the same theme/style
Your Instagram feed will be the one thanking you for that. We do not want to look like a bunch of colourful butterflies dressing in different styles. Our family came out with the colour code of blue and white to match the dazzling scenery but Ah Ma decided to be rebellious and wore red instead. I mean, the main purpose was to celebrate her birthday so of course, she had to be special.
A short safety briefing was given by the captain before we sailed off to Lazarus Island.
"1, 2, 3 laugh" she said.
2. Accessorize yourselves
Any accessories will do the job! Be it sunglasses, hats, flowy scarfs or even a bouquet of flowers! You need to bring some "props" so that each and every photo taken will turn out perfect. Sun too bright? Wear your sunglasses! Not confident of your body? Use a scarf to cover it!
Floral crown and rose bouquet from The Secret Flower
The Secret Flower team did a really great job in choosing the right flower and colour combinations to harmonize with my outfit of the day. I loved how all their products are entirely customisable! The number of photos I took that day with their gorgeous floral crown and bouquet was unbelievable. Some passers-by even asked if I was having my engagement party on board! Thank you for making me lovely that day!
ARE YOU READY KIDS? AYE AYE CAPTAIN!
3. Jump off the yacht!
We changed into our swim suits before the sunset to play some water activities. Initially, I didn't want to play as I had my make up on. But I could not resist the temptation and off the yacht I jumped.
Let me show you guys different style of jumps!
The "I'm so scared" jump
The "Uncle wants to be adventurous" jump
The "Possible belly flop" jump
The "Couple wanna jump together" jump
The "I'm the best" jump
The "Candid, don't want look at camera" jump
The "Hooray I love it" jump
The "Why you block me" jump
The "I jump in style" jump
Finally, the "I look like a frog" jump
4. Play in the sea
You can kayak, swim in the sea or do stand up peddling! The jet-skiing activity is something that everyone longed for. Unfortunately, we were informed that the engine of the jet-ski was malfunctioning. Nonetheless, we still had fun!
My mum who dislike water sports changed into her swim suit too!
5. Swim to near-by islands
As we couldn’t park the yacht near the island, we had to swim over! Thankfully, the water is very clean and free from rubbish.
We went to Lazarus island which is only 20minutes drive away. The island is so clean and empty! Perfect location for a beach theme shoot.
We concluded the night by singing Ah Ma's birthday song in front of the Singapore's skyline! The comforting gushing waves, beauty of the sunset and the company I had, made it a day to remember. No doubt, it was a pleasant and delightful experience with #CNLT family.
