The Plain Jane Cafe
I love spending my afternoon in a cafe having a good cuppa tea, some cakes and the company of good friends. The second thing I love most is to spend my afternoon in a cafe near my house!!

beautiful and imaginative"
The Plain Jane Cafe is located right opposite Serangoon Stadium which is only a stone's throw away from where I'm currently staying. I love the clean, vintage interior with marble tables and tiled floors! There seems to be different "themes" at different parts of the cafe. The high chair wood table facing the window, the round marble tables with different chairs, the cosy coffee table corner and a part at the back with very pretty wall lamps!
Thai Milk Tea Swiss Roll [$5.90]
Not overly sweet and the cream is smooth and fluffy. However, cake to cream ratio should be more even. 6.5/10
Earl Grey Swiss Roll [$5.90]
This would be a biased review because I LOVE anything earl grey!! What a great creation! The cake to cream ratio in this is actually more even compared to the Thai Milk Tea's. ^^ 7/10
Cheese Scones [$2.90]
Couldn't taste any cheese flavor to it and it's sightly crumbly. It would be better if they offer to warm the scones up. :) 5/10
Chai Latte [$5.50]
Very aromatic beverage for us to accompany with the scones! A hint of cinnamon, cardamon and milk... Yum! 7.5/10
